LOWELL, Ore. - Seattle University women’s rowing completed its first competition featuring all West Coast Conference boats, racing three boats at the Oregon State Invite on Dexter Reservoir on Saturday afternoon.
The field of competition featured Santa Clara, Portland, Gonzaga and host Oregon State, the largest group of WCC programs the Redhawks will meet prior to the WCC Championships later this season. It is the second straight competition where the Redhawks have seen Portland.
The Redhawks sent out its varsity eight alongside all four other programs, racing to a 7:51.71. They also fielded a second varsity eight, which completed the course at 7:49.51. SU wrapped competition with its varsity four after clocking 9:51.04.
Seattle U returns to action on April 11 for the Portland Invite on Vancouver Lake. Full race results from the Oregon State Invite are below
