LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The Seattle University women's tennis team traveled to face Loyola Marymount this weekend for their second West Coast Conference duel, falling to the Lions 7-0.
Despite a hard-fought effort by Lamija Avdic and Daria Nazarenko, the Redhawks failed to secure the doubles point. Seattle U would also get swept in singles, though freshman Amina Avdic put up a good fight.
This was Seattle U's first road match after a three-match homestand. The Redhawks will return to Seattle for their next match, hosting Saint Mary's on April 2 at 10:00 a.m. PDT.
