SEATTLE - The Seattle University women's tennis team will travel south to Los Angeles this week to face Loyola Marymount University in its second-ever West Coast Conference duel. The competition will take place on March 29 at 10:00 a.m. PDT at the LMU Tennis Center.
This is the Redhawks' first time on the road since March 7, having hosted three home matches in the month of March. In their most recent duel, Seattle U hosted Santa Clara in their inaugural WCC match. With the contribution of an impressive comeback by one-time WCC doubles team of the week Lamija Avdic and Natalia Michta, who overcame an 0-4 deficit to win 6-4, the Redhawks won the doubles point. Lamija's sister Amina and partner Daria Nazarenko also won their match, 6-3.
This will be the first meeting between Seattle U and LMU in women's tennis.
