SEATTLE - Seattle University softball (14-16) caps its nine games in eight days stretch with three games against Creighton (15-17) from March 26-28 in Omaha. Streaming is available on ESPN+.

Junior Avari Morris leads the team with a .437 batting average in 103 at bats, a mark that ranks first in the West Coast Conference. She is one of three Redhawks batting over .400 on the season thus far, with sister Mikee Morris holding a .424 batting average since her return. Senior Taylor Fitch rounds out the group with a .413 batting average through 30 games and 92 at bats.

Avari Morris has 45 hits on the season, a mark that is tied-35th most in the country and ranks third in the WCC. Fitch also ranks top-five in the conference in hits, with 38 on the year. Her 10 home runs is third in the league and tied-53rd in the country. Fitch has 39 RBI on the season, which ranks tied-27th in the country and second in the WCC. The pair combine for 57 runs so far this season, with Fitch leading the team with 29.

Senior Ava Sin holds a .375 batting average in 27 games and 88 at bats. She has 33 hits on the season. She matches Morris with 10 doubles, a mark that is fourth in the WCC. Her 27 RBI also ranks top-10 in the conference. Graduate Jay Ross has 31 hits on the season batting .320 through 97 at bats. 

Guiding the defense is junior Berkley Vance. Vance has pitched a team leading 67.0 innings in 16 appearances this season. She has guided the Redhawks to five wins from the circle while striking out 40 batters. Avari Morris ranks first on the team in strikeouts with 55 through 56.1 innings of work. She has accounted for four wins from the circle for the Redhawks while limiting opponents to a .258 batting average. Vance leads the team with a .244 opponent batting average.

Aiding the defense is junior Karen Spadafora, who leads the team with 130 putouts on the season. Ross joins Spadafora past the century mark in putouts with 107 between first and second base. The pair both rank top-10 in the WCC in putouts. Fitch leads the team with 53 assists between third and short.

The Redhawks combine for a conference leading .320 batting average this season, a mark that ranks 67th in the country. They sit second in the conference in hits with 269 while leading the WCC in runs with 184. SU leads the WCC in doubles (53) and RBIs (173) while ranking second in home runs with 29. The Redhawks rank third in the WCC defensively with 148 strikeouts in 30 games.

Seattle U and Creighton meet for the second time in as many years, meeting for the first time in 2025. The Redhawks secured the three game sweep over the Bluejays to claim the first lead in the all-time series.

Following the weekend, the Redhawks will make their official debut in the West Coast Conference, traveling for their first series in league play. They head to Stockton, California to meet Pacific for a three game series. SU makes its home conference debut the second week of April to host Saint Mary’s.
