STOCKTON, CA - Behind a 22-hit explosion, Seattle U baseball defeated Pacific, 15-10, Sunday afternoon at Klein Family Field. The Redhawks set a new season-high for runs as they secured their first West Coast Conference series win in program history.
“Our guys were able to build a lead and add runs when Pacific got to our bullpen, Head coach Donny Harrel said. "22 hits was a good sign and hopefully our offense can continue to be consistent moving forward.”
Eight different Redhawks recorded a hit on the afternoon and seven of them had multi-hit performances. Payton Knowles led the way going a perfect 5-for-5 with one RBI and an additional two walks, as the Tigers did not retire him in seven total plate appearances. Josh Cunnigan drove in a game-high four runs as he set new career bests in RBI, hits (3), and doubles (2).

Micah Hagler (2-2) continued the series trend of strong starting performances on the mound for the Redhawks, going 6.0 IP while allowing three earned on his way to win number two on the campaign.
“Another good start with Hagler," Harrell added. "That’s three quality starts by our rotation in the series."
The victory secured the series over the Tigers as the Redhawks picked up not only their first WCC series victory, but the first series overall in 2026. Overall, they improve to 5-14 and now sit 2-1 in conference play.
The Redhawks will look to keep the momentum going when they host Saint Martin's for a midweek clash at Bannerwood Park on Tuesday, March 24. First pitch is scheduled for 3:00pm PT.
