REDHAWK HEADLINES:

SERIES HISTORY
This will be the third all-time meeting between the Redhawks and Wildcats, and the first meeting since 2011. Seattle U hosted Central Washington for two games at Bannerwood that year as they swept them. The Redhawks have not allowed a run in the series history.

REDHAWKS TIE DOUBLES RECORD
In their loss to Washington on Tuesday, the Redhawks tied their single-game record of doubles with seven. Coincidently the last time SU reached that total was a year ago also vs UW at Husky Ballpark.

SEATTLE U SHINES AT T-MOBILE
Seattle U took the third and final game of the HBCU Seattle Series at T-Mobile Park on Sunday. Sebastian Lopez (2-3, HR, 3 RBI) helped power the Redhawk offense as they defeated Jackson State, 6-4.

NEW SEASON. NEW CONFERENCE.
2026 will mark the first season for Seattle U baseball in the West Coast Conference. The last 13 years were spent in the Western Athletic Conference where SU compiled a record of 148-177. The Redhawks captured the 2016 WAC Regular Season Championship behind a stellar season from Tarik Skubal (6-1, 2.11 ERA).

IT’S RHEIN TIME
Kenny Rhein had three of the Redhawks seven doubles in Tuesday’s game at Washington. The junior tied the program record for a single game for the second time this season, also reaching the number on Feb. 14 at CSUN. He leads the team in extra base hits with eight.

 SEBASS HEATING UP
Sebastian Lopez has been on a hot streak as of late, as he now leads the team with a .381 batting average. Of his five RBI on the season, four of them have come in the last two games. He knocked in three runs, including a towering home run to left field, in the Redhawks win over Jackson State at T-Mobile Park.

HAGLER PICKS UP FIRST WIN OF 2026
Micah Hagler tossed seven strong in the Redhawk’s win over Jackson State on Sunday. He allowed just two earned on four hits while striking out three. It was the 11th career win for the righty and his 5th in a Redhawk uniform.

BLAKE BACK IN THE SAVE COLUMN
Senior Blake Smith picked up his first save since his freshman season when he secured the SU victory on Sunday. The former starter has made nine appearances out of the pen and has posted a 6.60 ERA thus far.

MORE MORELL
Jake Morell has been a shutdown arm out of the pen this season. He ranks second on the team in appearances (8) while posting a team-low 2.30 ERA. His long relief appearances also have him ranking 4th on the team in innings pitched (15.2) while being the only player in the top five to not have a start on the season.
