SEATTLE - Freshman Anna Jurrens was named to the For Stars Networks 3rd Annual Watchlist for Division I Women’s Rowing, representing Seattle University women's rowing amongst 94 DI programs as announced by FSN.

A total of 196 athletes were honored ahead of the 2026 season representing 11 different conferences. The Redhawks prepare for their official debut in the West Coast Conference this season and join their nine conference mates with at least one representative to the watch list. The WCC fielded 22 athletes in total to the field.

Various criteria were considered amongst the nominees including regular season matchups from a season ago and fall racing in regattas in 2025. Positive yearly trajectory, comparative erg times and coaching staff nominations were also areas of consideration.

Jurrens joined the program upon graduation from St. Francis Catholic in Dorado Hills, California. She competed with her rowing team Capital Crew.

This fall, Jurrens made her collegiate debut at Tail of the Lake, earning her first start to the Varsity 8. She also competed in SU’s second race of the fall as a Varsity 4 start at Head of the Lake.
