QUICK HITS

  • Seattle U completed the season sweep of West Coast Conference foe Pepperdine with an 87-80 win in Malibu on Wednesday, Feb. 25.
  • The win marked the Redhawks’ first WCC road win, snapping a seven-game skid on the road.
  • The win moved the Redhawks to 18-12 on the season and 7-10 in WCC play headed into Saturday’s finale.
  • With one game remaining for all teams across the conference, Seattle U sits in a three-way tie for sixth with San Francisco and Washington State.
  • With a win on Saturday at LMU, the Redhawks could earn as high of a seed as sixth for next week’s WCC Tournament. That finish would require specific results from other teams as well.
  • A loss could drop the Redhawks as low as the 9 seed, again also pending other results across the league.
  • Seeds 9-12 open play on Thursday, March 5, seeds 7 and 8 begin play on Friday, March 6 and seeds 5 and 6 begin on Saturday, March 7. Full tournament bracket and information can be found at wccsports.com.
