SEATTLE - Seattle University women’s rowing revealed its 2026 racing schedule ahead of its debut season as a member of the West Coast Conference, as announced by the program this morning.

SEATTLE - Seattle University women’s rowing revealed its 2026 racing schedule ahead of its debut season as a member of the West Coast Conference, as announced by the program this morning.

The Redhawks take to the water for five races through mid-March and early May before journeying down to their first ever conference championship in mid-May. Seattle U makes three trips out of state during the regular season, venturing to Oregon twice and California to take on its new conference competition. The Redhawks debut in their home state at the Puget Sound Invite on American Lake and bookend their regular season at Opening Day on Lake Washington.

SU races on American Lake on Saturday, March 16 before traveling to Oregon State on March 28. The Redhawks race twice in April, traveling for the Portland Invite and to duel Santa Clara. The first Saturday of May the Redhawks venture to Lake Washington for the second time in 2025-26 to compete in Opening Day.

On May 15-16, Seattle U travels to Lake Natoma in California for the West Coast Conference Championships. The team will meet its nine counterparts in Oregon State, Santa Clara, Creighton, Sacramento State, Saint Mary’s, Gonzaga, Portland, and San Diego.

The Redhawks put two rowers on the 2026 All-WCC preseason team in junior Camila Torres and senior Sophie Schmidt, as nominated by the ten WCC coaches. Freshman Anna Jurens joins the pair with early preseason recognition after she was named to the FSN Women’s Rowing watchlist.
