RIVERSIDE, CA - Seattle U baseball dropped their series finale with California Baptist, 1-5, Sunday afternoon in California. 

The Redhawks offense was held to just one run on the day, coming off and RBI single from Brandon Stinnett in the 7th. In total SU was held to six hits, with Payton Knowles (2-3, BB) being the only one with a multi-hit afternoon. 

Micah Hagler (0-2) was credited with the loss after allowing four earned on six hits. Jake Morell, Blake Smith, and Ryan Stone combined to pitch 3.2 scoreless innings in relief. 

The loss drops the Redhawks to 0-7 on the season as they were swept by their former conference foes California Baptist. Seattle U will fly back to Seattle and have a quick turnaround as they face their crosstown rivals Washington on Tuesday, Feb. 24, on Montlake. First pitch between the Redhawks and Huskies is scheduled for 5:05pm PT.
