Redhawks Finish Oregon Road Trip

EUGENE, Ore. - The Seattle University women's tennis team finished a two-game road trip to Eugene, falling to UC Riverside, 5-2, on Friday, and losing 4-0 to Oregon on Satutday. 

Lamija Avdic and Natalia Michta continued thier unbeaten doubles streak, dominating their top-seeded match against UC Riverside, 6-2. The Redhawks were able to secure a point in doubles with the additional contributions of an equally convincing 6-1 win by Amina Avdic and Lola Tavcar. Senior Larissa Teramura also won her singles matchup, 6-3, 6-4.

Against Oregon, Amina Avdic and Natalia Michta teamed up for a 7-5 doubles victory. 

Next, the Redhawks will head east to face Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho, on February 21 and Eastern Washington in Cheney, Wash., on February 22.
