SEATTLE - The Seattle University men's golf team will open its spring season by heading south to the Bill Cullum Invitional, hosted by CSUN. The tournament takes place from February 2-3 at Saticoy Country Club in Somis, Calif. 

Competing for the Redhawks will be Kevin Li, Walker Lamb, Jacob Kang, Will Koch and Jakob Balkovec

The Redhawks look to build on their strong final performance of the fall season, where Li took second place overall, with a score of -7 under 209 and a season-low round of -4 under 68. Lamb also looks to continue a strong season, having finished as high as eighth place at The Tindall with -6 under 210. Lamb fnished in the top 15 in three of the four fall tournaments, and has moved to second all-time scoring average in program history at 72.18, behind current teammate Li. 

This is Seattle U's first time competing in this tournament since 2016, when the Redhawks finished fourth of 15 and two players finished in the top 15.
