SEATTLE - The Seattle University women's tennis team will kick off their spring schedule with a two game road trip to Colorado, facing Denver University on January 23 at 3:00 p.m. in Denver, and Colorado State University on January 24 at 12:00 p.m. in Fort Collins.

These will be the Redhawks' first matches since the Gonzaga Invitational in November, where Daria Nazarenko and Larissa Teramura each won their draws, and Lamija Avdic reached the semifinals. Nazarenko and Lola Tavcar were also semifinalists in doubles.

The Redhawks will not compete in Seattle until March 18, facing off against Oregon (Feb. 14), UC Riverside (Feb. 15), Lewis-Clark State College (Feb. 20), Eastern Washington (Feb. 21), UNLV (Mar. 6), and New Mexico State (Mar. 7).

Seattle University last faced off with future West Coast Conference mate Denver in 2020, and Colorado State in 2015, where the Redhawks pulled off a 4-3 win.

These are the Redhawks' first dual matches since last spring, when they fell to Abilene Christian in the WAC Tournament. Following the competition, Lamija Avdic became the first Redhawk to be named WAC Player of the Year.
