Seattle University apologizes for the offensive term used during Sunday night’s men’s basketball broadcast. The language is unacceptable and does not reflect our values or our commitment to an inclusive and respectful environment for our student athletes, coaches and fans.
We understand the harm this has caused and take the matter seriously. We have addressed the situation internally to prevent this from happening again.
