REDHAWK HEADLINES
ALL-TIME RECORD
This will be the fourth all-time meeting between the Redhawks and Toreros, with SU trailing 1-2-0 in the series. The two sides last met in 2023, a 0-1 loss for Seattle U at Championship Field.
LAST TIME OUT
The Redhawks picked up their second true road win of the season when they shutout Loyola Marymount, 2-0, on Wednesday. Kyla Schuster opened the scoring in the 15th with her fourth of the year before Caroline Penner doubled the lead in the 21st with her conference leading 15th of the season.
REDHAWK OFFENSE RANKS 14th NATIONALLY
Seattle U’s 2.53 goals per game ranks 14th in the country, the highest in the West Coast Conference. The team’s leading scorer, Penner, ranks 6th in the nation with 15 goals.
HOME COOKING
Following the senior day win over Oregon State, the Redhawks improved their record to 95-39-16 (.687) at Championship Field since joining Division I back in 2009.
WINNING WAYS
The Redhawks secured their fourth straight winning season in 2025. Seattle U has had 26 winning seasons in the 29-year tenure of Head Coach Julie Woodward.
PENNER RAKES IN HONORS
Caroline Penner was named the Top Drawer Soccer Player of the Week after her 4-goal and one assist performance vs Oregon State on Saturday. The senior forward was also named the WCC Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.
WILSON ON A HEATER
Kailee Wilson has recorded a point in six of her last seven matches. Her six goals and six assists both rank second on the team, and her 18 points ranks 5th in the WCC.
KIRGAN HUNTING 30
Kassidy Kirgan is hunting for her third straight 10-win season in goal. She would be the first Redhawk to win 10+ in three straight seasons since Brianna Smallidge did so between 2013-15.
NEW IRONWOMAN IN THE BACK
Six different Redhawks have started all 18 games this season, with Jaelyn Byeman being the only freshman on the list. She has stepped into the center back role after former All-Conference defender Kait Raffensperger graduated following the 2024 season.
