SAN BRUNO, Calif. - Seattle U women's soccer forward Caroline Penner has been named the West Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday.

"Penner earning Conference Player of the Week is a reflection of her relentless work ethic, leadership, and character," head coach Julie Woodward said. "She gives everything she has on and off the field, leads by example, and makes everyone around her better."

Penner shined on her senior day, netting her first career 4-goal performance on Saturday vs Oregon State. She also set up the first goal of the match, adding an assist to bring her match point total to nine.

Saturday's performance added to an already historic season, as she now sits at 14 goals and six assists. She is currently tied for 9th in the nation in goals and leads the WCC in goals and assists.

The Redhawks have now taken home the weekly conference honor four times this season, all on the offensive side. Alongside Penner winning it twice, U'i Kaaihue and Marla Gaudlitz both have been selected.

Seattle U will close out the 2025 regular season this week with a pair of road matches, starting with a meeting with Loyola Marymount on Wednesday. The finale will take place on Saturday at San Diego.
