SEATTLE - For the final time inside the Redhawk Center in 2025, Seattle University volleyball (7-19, 1-14 WCC) takes to the floor, hosting Oregon State (18-8, 12-4 WCC) for its Senior Day celebration of Elif Teksoy, Marley Hardgrave and Yasemin Elmas on Saturday, November 22 at 1 PM at the Redhawk Center.

The trio of Redhawks have been staple pieces of the program since the 2022-23 season, spending all four years in the Red and White. All have made their way into the record books. Teksoy became one of six Redhawks to surpass 1000 assists in their career, crossing the mark in her junior season. Hardgrave is now second all-time in the Division I era for solo blocks in her career, amassing 45.0 as of this writing. Elmas ranks fourth all-time in career hitting percentage (.258) in the DI era.

Elmas leads the team with 84.0 blocks on the year, a new collegiate season best for the middle blocker. Hardgrave sits right behind with 73.0 blocks on the season, her third highest in a season in her four year career.

Teksoy leads all setters with 425 assists, averaging 6.75 assists per set. The mark ranks seventh in the WCC. Her 425 assists is her third highest for assists in a season, surpassing her 424 from a season ago after posting 42 against Gonzaga on Thursday night.

Leading the Redhawks in kills is sophomore Madyn Cervellera. She ranks fifth in the WCC with 347 kills through 26 matches this season. The outside hitter now ranks seventh all-time in kills in a single season in the DI era in her first season in the Red and White. Cervellera is 15th in the conference in digs, grabbing 233 on the year.

Four more Redhawks have posted 100+ kills this season alongside Cervellera. Junior Teagan Melton leads the group with 191 in 26 matches. Freshman Petra Fritz follows behind with 151 after coming off her second 20+ kill performance of the year against Gonzaga. Hardgrave and Elmas round out the group with 119 and 145 respectively.

Fritz leads the league in aces per set, averaging .49 spanning 91 sets of play. She also ranks tied-first for total aces, with 45. She sits one shy of tying the program record for aces in a season in the DI era with three matches left on the year.

Protecting the floor is freshman Katelynn Albano, who leads the team with 257 digs in 102 sets. Albano also guides the team from the service line alongside Fritz, tallying 29 aces this season.

Seattle U and Oregon State face one another for the first and last time as conference mates on Saturday afternoon. The meeting is the ninth in program history dating back to the start of SU’s DI era in 2008. The Beavers lead the all-time series over SU 8-0. Saturday’s match is the first between the pair since 2019.

Following the weekend, the Redhawks travel to the Bay Area for their remaining two matches, visiting both San Francisco and Santa Clara.
