SEATTLE - Seattle U women's soccer used an offensive eruption to take down Oregon State, 6-1, Saturday afternoon at Championship Field.

On a day dedicated to the 2025 senior class, it was a senior in Caroline Penner who would be the offensive catalyst on the day. She secured her first career 4-goal performance, scoring in the 10th, 14th, 29th, and 60th minutes. She also assisted the match's first goal, setting up Kyla Schuster just two minutes after kickoff.

The additional four goals brings Penner's season total to 14, which at the conclusion of the game ranks 9th in the country. She also currently sits five clear of the lead in the WCC.

The only goal on the day that did not involve Penner came in the 26th when Kailee Wilson lofted one over the Beaver keeper after the set up from Marla Gaudlitz and Schuster.

Schuster's goal and two assist performance was also a career high for points (4) in a single match for the sophomore.

It was the second time this season that the Redhawks reached six goals in a single match, also doing so vs Pacific in early October at Championship Field. Seattle U also extended their streak of matches with two or more goals to 13, as they continue to show they are one of the best attacks in the country.

Oregon State would break up the shutout before all things were said and done, netting one in the 44th.

The victory moves the Redhawks to 8-3-6 on the season and to 4-3-2 in conference play. They also concluded their home slate with a record of 7-1-2 at Championship Field in 2025.

Seattle U will wrap up their inaugural season in the WCC with two road games next week. They will travel to LMU on Wednesday, Nov. 5, before concluding the regular season at San Diego on Saturday.
