SAN BRUNO, Calif. - Seattle U men's soccer forward Yeider Zuluaga was named Second Team All-Conference, as announced by the West Coast Conference on Wednesday.
Zuluaga set a new career high in goals (9) and points (23) in his senior season. The Cali, Columbia native also finished tied for 3rd in the conference for goals despite missing the final four matches of the season due to injury.
The highlight on the season was a hat trick vs instate rival Gonzaga in October. It was the first 3-goal, and fourth multi-goal performance of his collegiate career.
Joining Zuluaga as an all-conference honoree was Ismael Yeo, who was selected to the All-Freshman team. The midfielder from Montréal, Quebec, Canada appeared in 13 matches and started in five of the final six matches of the season. He scored his first collegiate goal at UC Davis in September and added two assists during conference play.
