SEATTLE - Seattle U men's soccer will conclude their 2025 campaign when they host San Francisco on Friday, Nov. 14, at Championship Field. The match will be senior day for 13 Redhawks as they play the final game in their collegiate careers.

REDHAWK HEADLINES

SERIES HISTORY 
Seattle U is 3-2-1 all-time vs San Francisco, with the series dating back to 1974. The Redhawks are unbeaten vs the Dons since their return to Division I, with the most recent meeting being a 3-2 victory at Championship Field in 2024.

LAST TIME OUT
The Redhawks fell to #8 Portland on the road last Saturday. SU was held to a season low one shot in the match as the hosts split their goals between both halves.

FROM THE WAC TO THE WCC
The 2025 season will be the first for the Redhawks in the West Coast Conference after spending the last 13 in the Western Athletic Conference. Seattle U won a combined 10 conference championships between regular season and tournament, and posted a record of 83-19-14 during their time in the WAC. Their win total and conference championships are both conference records.

REDHAWKS ANNOUNCE SINGING CLASS
Head Coach Nate Daligcon announced the signing of five incoming freshman during yesterday’s national signing day. Hazem Elmarakby, Mitch Emert, Zach Hume, Gage Lambert, and Aaron Leon were named as the 2026 freshman class. Aaron Leon is the younger brother of current Redhawk Edgar Leon.

2025 SENIOR DAY
Friday’s match with San Francisco will also be senior day at Championship Field. 13 Redhawks will be honored ahead of their final collegiate match. Charlie Lanphier, Luke Hammond, Nico Wiskel, Davis Mungomba, Yuta Toya, Tai Iida, Dane Rogers, Yeider Zuluaga, Cooper Brunell, River Stewart, Eiji Hata, Lars Thorne-Thomsen, and Joep de Bruin will all be honored pregame.

ZULUAGA LEADS THE WAY
Yeider Zuluaga leads the Redhawks with nine goals and five assists this season. His goal and points total also ranks second in the WCC. He is the third Redhawk to score 9+ goals in a season in the last five years.

4th FOR THE NEWCOMERS
Seattle U came in a tie for 4th place in the Preseason WCC Coaches Poll, level with San Francisco. San Diego, last season’s conference winner, was picked 1st, followed by Oregon State and Portland. The Redhawks also received votes in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 preseason poll.
