REDHAWK HEADLINES

SERIES HISTORY
The Redhawks are 9-10-2 all-time vs Oregon State, with their first meeting dating back to the 1975 season. Seattle U is 7-5 while being the host in the series. Their last meeting came in 2024, a 2-2 draw in Corvallis. Taketo Onodera and Titus Washington both scored in the match.

LAST TIME OUT
Seattle U suffered their second conference loss on the season, falling to then #15 San Diego, 0-3, last Saturday in California. The Redhawks lost their leading scorer in Yedier Zuluaga just minutes into the match and couldn’t find their offensive punch in the defeat.

HOME FORM
The Redhawks are 14-3-4 at home during the Nate Daligcon era and have not lost more than one home match in any season since his tenure began in 2023.

FROM THE WAC TO THE WCC
The 2025 season will be the first for the Redhawks in the West Coast Conference after spending the last 13 in the Western Athletic Conference. Seattle U won a combined 10 conference championships between regular season and tournament, and posted a record of 83-19-14 during their time in the WAC. Their win total and conference championships are both conference records.

YEIDER KEEPING PACE
Saturday’s matchup will feature the top two goal scorers in the West Coast Conference when Yedier Zuluaga (9 goals) and the Redhawks welcome Arnau Farnos (10 goals) and the Beavers to Championship Field. Zuluaga’s nine goals is a new single-season best for the senior.

KAPCIAK MAKES FIRST COLLEGIATE START
Alexander Kapciak, a freshman out of Skokie, Il, made his first collegiate start in goal during last week’s match at San Diego. He made two saves and allowed three goals in the appearance.

LANPHIER CHASING ADACHI
Charlie Lanphier is just four wins away from tying Josh Adachi for 4th all-time in program history for career goalkeeper wins at 28. He also ranks 5th all-time in career saves at 133.

 THORNE-THOMSEN BREAKOUT SEASON
After having no goals in his first three seasons, Lars Thorne-Thomsen has scored three times during his senior campaign. His six points is also tied for second on the team this season.

4th FOR THE NEWCOMERS
Seattle U came in a tie for 4th place in the Preseason WCC Coaches Poll, level with San Francisco. San Diego, last season’s conference winner, was picked 1st, followed by Oregon State and Portland. The Redhawks also received votes in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 preseason poll.
