ALL-TIME RECORD
Seattle U is 2-2 all-time vs San Francisco, with the series dating back to 1992. Their last meeting came in 2011, a 1-0 win for the Redhawks at Championship Field.
LAST TIME OUT
The Redhawks made it back-to-back conference wins when they took down Saint Mary’s, 2-0, Saturday night at Championship Field. U’i Kaaihue and Zoe Hopkins both scored while Kassidy Kirgan had a three save shutout in the victory.
REDHAWKS HAVE TOP 20 OFFENSE
Seattle U’s explosive attack is currently ranked 19th in the country. They have scored 31 goals this season and are averaging 2.38 goals per game. The Redhawks have not scored less than two goals in a match since August.
FROM THE WAC TO THE WCC
The 2025 season will be the first for the Redhawks in the West Coast Conference after spending the last 13 in the Western Athletic Conference. Seattle U won a combined 11 conference championships between regular season and tournament, and posted a record of 82-20-19 record during their time in the WAC.
GAUDLITZ NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Senior midfielder Marla Gaudlitz was named the West Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending on 10/12. Gaudlitz netted a brace in a 6-0 Redhawk win over Pacific and then assisted one of two goals scored in the 2-0 win over Saint Mary’s.
PENNER BACK ON TOP
Following her goal and two assists in Wednesday’s match, Caroline Penner moved back into the lead for points (20) in the WCC and a tie for the lead in goals (8) with Julia Quinonez of Pepperdine.
KIRGAN REACHES 25
In her five save effort on Wednesday, Kassidy Kirgan secured the 25th win of her collegiate career. She now sits alone in 3rd all-time in program history for career wins.
KAAIHUE IN FORM
U’i Kaaihue has scored or assisted in four straight matches for the Redhawks, including what would be the game-winner in Saturday’s win over Saint Mary’s.
