REDHAWK HEADLINES

SERIES HISTORY

The Redhawks are 13-9-1 all-time vs the Bulldogs, with the first entry in the series coming during the 1982 season. Seattle U is 8-5 as the hosts, but lost their most recent matchup at Championship Field, 1-2, last season.

LAST TIME OUT
Seattle U suffered their first loss in the WCC, falling to Santa Clara on the road, 0-1, last Friday. The Redhawks outshot the Broncos 12 (3) - 9 (2) but conceded a second half goal that proved to be the difference.

PROTECT HOME FIELD
The Redhawks have not lost more than one home game each of the last three seasons and have a record of 14-3-3 at Championship Field in the Nate Daligcon era.

FROM THE WAC TO THE WCC

The 2025 season will be the first for the Redhawks in the West Coast Conference after spending the last 13 in the Western Athletic Conference. Seattle U won a combined 10 conference championships between regular season and tournament, and posted a record of 83-19-14 during their time in the WAC. Their win total and conference championships are both conference records.

ZULUAGA IN THE RANKINGS

Yeider Zuluaga is the only player in the WCC to rank top 5 in both goals and assists. His six goals and five assists also gives him 17 points, good for second in the conference.

LANPHIER CHASING ADACHI

Charlie Lanphier is just four wins away from tying Josh Adachi for 4th all-time in program history for career goalkeeper wins at 28. He also ranks 5th all-time in career saves at 133.

EVERYONE INVOLVED

11 different Redhawks have found the back of the net in 2025, including five from players new to the program this season. Yeider Zuluaga, Lars Thorne-Thomsen, and River Stewart are the only multi-goal contributors to this point.

THORNE-THOMSEN BREAKOUT SEASON

After having no goals in his first three seasons, Lars Thorne-Thomsen has scored three times during his senior campaign. His six points is also tied for second on the team this season.

4th FOR THE NEWCOMERS

Seattle U came in a tie for 4th place in the Preseason WCC Coaches Poll, level with San Francisco. San Diego, last season’s conference winner, was picked 1st, followed by Oregon State and Portland. The Redhawks also received votes in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 preseason poll.
