LAST TIME OUT
The Redhawks secured their first win as members of the West Coast Conference in dominant fashion, taking down Pacific, 6-0, on Wednesday. Four different SU players found the back of the net, including a Marla Gaudlitz brace, as the Redhawks had their biggest scoring output in three years.
REDHAWKS HAVE TOP 25 OFFENSE
Seattle U’s explosive attack is currently ranked 22nd in the nation, tied with Brown. The Redhawks are averaging 2.42 goals per game and have scored 29 goals in total during the 2025 season. Stanford currently leads the country at 4.0 GPG.
NO PLACE LIKE CHAMP
With their win over Pacific on Wednesday the Redhawks improved their home record since joining Division I (2009) to 93-39-15 (.683). With three home matches remaining this season, they have a chance to tie a program record with eight home wins. The Redhawks have reached that mark three other times, most recently in 2019 (8-3-0).
FROM THE WAC TO THE WCC
The 2025 season will be the first for the Redhawks in the West Coast Conference after spending the last 13 in the Western Athletic Conference. Seattle U won a combined 11 conference championships between regular season and tournament, and posted a record of 82-20-19 record during their time in the WAC.
PENNER BACK ON TOP
After scoring her eighth goal of the season on Wednesday, Caroline Penner moved into a tie with Pepperdine’s Julia Quinonez for the conference lead in goals scored this season. She needs one more goal to set a new career personal best, after scoring eight goals in each of the last three seasons.
REDHAWK DIMERS
The quartet of Zoe Hopkins, U’i Kaaihue, Caroline Penner, and Kyla Schuster all have four assists on the season. They are tied for the second highest mark in the conference.
KIRGAN REACHES 25
In her five save effort on Wednesday, Kassidy Kirgan secured the 25th win of her collegiate career. She now sits alone in 3rd all-time in program history for career wins.
GAUDLITZ ON A HEATER
With her brace on Wednesday, Marla Gaudlitz has now scored in three straight matches. After not scoring in her first eight appearances on the season, she now ranks second on the team with four goals.
