SEATTLE - Seattle U men's soccer dropped their rivalry match with Washington, 2-7, Monday night at Championship Field. The Redhawks struck first with back-to-back goals but couldn't hold off the visiting Huskies in the 2025 Fewing Cup.
The night started on a high note, with Yeider Zuluaga netting the opening goal just 10 minutes into the match. Riding the early momentum, the Redhawks struck again in the 24th minute as Allen Blegay found the back of the net for the first time in his collegiate career.

Seattle U, however, would not make it to half with their lead, conceding four goals in the span of eight minutes as it was the Huskies who had the advantage after 45 minutes.
The Redhawks could not find another goal in the second half and the visitors added three more as Seattle U dropped the Fewing Cup, 2-7.
With the loss, Seattle U dropped to 0-3-2 on the season. They will continue their hunt for the first win of the season as they hit the road for California once again, this time facing UC Davis on Saturday, Sep. 13.
