SEATTLE - Seattle U women’s basketball adds some height to its interior with the addition of Missouri transfer junior center Lucija Mikovic, as announced by head coach Skyler Young.
The 6’6 Sibenik, Croatia native spent two seasons at Mizzou, combining for 25 wins since her debut in 2023-24. She appeared in 15 contests earning minutes at center, shooting 33.3 percent from the field and from behind the arc.
She made her collegiate debut against Belmont in the season opener of her freshman season before scoring her first career points in the following contest against Indiana State. The Tigers locked down both wins at home.
In her sophomore year she surpassed her games played in her first season, contributing to the winning effort against Jackson State.
Mikovic attended Sibenik Medical School prior to playing collegiate basketball in the United States. She competed with ZKK Sibenik all four years. She was a member of the Croatian youth national team and competed in the FIBA 18U European Championship prior to starting at Mizzou.
