The Redhawks and Mustangs last squared off in 2021, a 2-1 victory for the SU at Championship Field. After giving up the opener, the Redhawks got a pair of goals from Michele Adam and Bailey Hall to secure the comeback victory.

Seattle U is unbeaten, 4-0-3, in their first seven games of the 2025 season. It is the longest unbeaten streak to start a season in their Division I history. The program’s longest unbeaten streak, regardless of what part of the season, was 12 back in 2006.

Seattle U has scored nine goals over their current 3-game winning streak. This comes after they scored three goals in their first four games of the 2025 season.
NUMBER 360 FOR COACH WOODWARD
Head Coach Julie Woodward secured her 360th career win at the helm of the Redhawk program. She ranks top 70 among all coaches in women’s collegiate soccer history.
FROM THE WAC TO THE WCC
The 2025 season will be the first for the Redhawks in the West Coast Conference after spending the last 13 in the Western Athletic Conference. Seattle U won a combined 11 conference championships between regular season and tournament, and posted a record of 82-20-19 record during their time in the WAC.
THE POWER OF PENNER
Caroline Penner scored a brace in the Redhawks 4-0 win over UNLV on Thursday, bringing her season goal total to five. It was the fifth career multi-goal game for the senior.
KIRGAN KEEPS MOVING UP
With her shutout win over UNLV, junior goalkeeper Kassidy Kirgan moved into a tie with Madison Waguespack (2019-22) for 3rd all-time in program history for career wins.
EVERYONE GETTING INVOLVED
There has been five different goal scorers and eight different assisters through seven games this season. Caroline Penner leads the way in goals scored (5), while Marla Gaudlitz and Zoe Hopkins both have three assists to tie for the team lead.
KAAIHUE ON THE BOARD IN 2025
U’i Kaaihue scored her 11th career goal, and first of 2025, in the Redhawks win over UNLV. Her 28 career points ranks second since joining the team as a freshman in 2022, only trailing Caroline Penner (57).
