SEATTLE - Seattle University women’s basketball officially revealed its 11-game nonconference slate for the 2025-26 season, highlighting the first two months of competition with five home contests at the Redhawk Center, an abundance of first meetings in a Thanksgiving tournament, and stiff competition up and down the West Coast.

The Redhawks debut on November 3 against cross-town rival Washington for the second straight year, squaring off with the Huskies at Alaska Airlines Arena for their 28th meeting in program history before making their first appearance in the Redhawk Center against Northwest that same weekend.

A total of seven contests take place on the road, headlined by a tournament over Thanksgiving weekend in Florida hosted by Florida International. Seattle U will have stops in California, Idaho and Oregon before the end of the calendar year, starting with Fresno State and Boise State in November before concluding 2025 on the road against Portland State in mid-December. While in Florida over the holiday weekend, the Redhawks face Presbyterian for the first time in program history and conclude the weekend against either UMBC or FIU for their first ever respective meeting.

Through November, SU will appear three times at the Redhawk Center, welcoming Northwest, UC Santa Barbara and Cal Poly to First Hill. The Mustangs and Gauchos both faced the Redhawks a season ago and both make the journey up from Southern California this year, while Northwest prepares for its first competition in the Redhawk Center since 2021.

Evergreen State claims the first home competition of December before CSU Bakersfield comes to town after the Redhawks made the trip down to the Roadrunners in 2024. Seattle U secured victories over the pair a season ago.

A trip down I-5 to Portland State wraps up 2025, with the Redhawks making the journey on December 17. They cap the year on the road before preparing for their debut in the West Coast Conference following the transition to the league on July 1.

The Redhawks graduated three a season ago and welcomed eight new faces to the program over the summer, with two making their homecomings to the state of Washington. Four have international ties with Montenegro, Serbia, Germany and Croatia all represented on the roster. Three first years make up the class of 2029, as the trio of freshmen prepare for their collegiate debut season come November 3.

The full schedule release for 2025-26, including Seattle U’s WCC slate, will be announced at a later date.
