Seattle U is 1-1 all-time vs the Rebels. Each team has hosted once, with the visiting team getting the win in both matchups with a score of 2-1.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time the two sides faced off was in 2011 at the UNLV NIKE Invitational. After the Rebels scored a quick first half goal, the Redhawks got a goal from Heather Thomas in the 63rd minute and a PK conversion from Julia Besagno in the 75th to pick up the victory in the desert.
STILL UNBEATEN
Seattle U is unbeaten, 3-0-3, in their first six games of the 2025 season. It is the longest unbeaten streak to start a season in their Division I history. The program’s longest unbeaten streak, regardless of what part of the season, was 12 back in 2006.
DEFENSIVE MINDSET
The Redhawks have not allowed more than a goal in a game this season as their goals against average sits at 0.83, which ranks third in the conference.
FINDING THE BACK OF THE NET
The Redhawks have scored a combined five goals in their past two games after scoring three in their first four. Four different players have scored in the last two games.
FROM THE WAC TO THE WCC
The 2025 season will be the first for the Redhawks in the West Coast Conference after spending the last 13 in the Western Athletic Conference. Seattle U won a combined 11 conference championships between regular season and tournament, and posted a record of 82-20-19 record during their time in the WAC.
PENNER ON A HEATER
Caroline Penner has scored a goal in three of the last four games. She scored her 23rd career goal in the win over Oregon, giving her sole possession of 10th all-time in program history for career goals.
LAMB DOES IT ALL
Not only has Alana Lamb been a standout defender for a team allowing less than a goal a game, but she has also gotten involved in the attack with both of her goals being game winners this year.
EVERYONE GETTING INVOLVED
There has been four different goal scorers and eight different assisters through six games this season. Caroline Penner leads the way in goals scored (3), while Kyla Schuster and Zoe Hopkins both have two assists to tie for the team lead.
IN SAFE HANDS WITH KIRGAN
Kassidy Kirgan has made 27 saves and has a 0.83 goals against average through the first five games of the season. She also sits just one win away from tying Madison Waguespack (2019-22) for 3rd all-time in program history for career wins (24).
