REDHAWK HEADLINES:

RUMBLE IN THE ROCKIES
Seattle U will take on Montana (8/21) and Denver (8/24) as part of the Rumble in the Rockies hosted by Montana. Both matches will be streamed live on ESPN+.

ALL-TIME RECORD
This will be the second time the Redhawks have met both the Grizzlies and Pioneers on the pitch. Seattle U defeated Montana, 2-1, in overtime back in 2011 at Championship Field. The Pioneers got the best of SU in their lone meeting, an 0-2 defeat in Seattle in 2012.

HITTING THE ROAD
This will be the first of just two road trips for the Redhawks during the non-conference slate, with a matchup with Cal Poly in September being the other. Seattle U is 19-18-9 in road contests over the past five seasons.

LAST TIME OUT
The Redhawks opened the 2025 campaign with a 1-0 win over Eastern Washington at Championship Field last Thursday. Alana Lamb scored goal in the 51st minute courtesy of a free kick assist from U’i Kaaihue.

FROM THE WAC TO THE WCC
The 2025 season will be the first for the Redhawks in the West Coast Conference after spending the last 13 in the Western Athletic Conference. Seattle U won a combined 11 conference championships between regular season and tournament, and posted a record of 82-20-19 record during their time in the WAC.

LEANING ON LAMB
Alana Lamb’s goal in the season opener was the third of her career, with two of them being game-winners. The redshirt junior defender scored the first two goals of her collegiate career last season and added an assist. Her performance landed her on the All-WAC Second Team.

THE POWER OF PENNER
Caroline Penner enters her senior season with the program after leading the team in goals in back-to-back seasons. The First Team All-Conference selection last season netted eight goals and assisted on another in 2024. Her scoring prowess earned her a Preseason All-WCC Team selection this year, along with being named to the United Soccer Coaches Forwards to Watch list.

KIRGAN HEADS HOME
Keeper Kassidy Kirgan will return to her hometown of Missoula this weekend, where she was a standout at Sentinel High School. She helped lead the Spartans to the playoffs in 2019-21 and a state runner up finish in 2022.
