GILBERT, Az. – Seattle University women's tennis was named to an Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team for the 2024-25 season. Additionally, seven Redhawks were named ITA Scholar-Athletes.
The Redhawks recorded a cumulative 3.73 GPA for the 2024-25 academic year, including a 3.966 team GPA in the spring term. Liliya Dimova, Natalia Michta, Jade Quintana, Lola Tavcar, Larissa Teramura and Mina Yazadzhiev were all named ITA Scholar-Athletes for the first time in their careers. Daria Nazarenko earned her second career recognition, previously earning the award while playing for Fresno State.
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, players must meet the requirement of having a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the current academic year. To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, institutions must have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above.
