A top prospect out of Greece and considered a rising star across all of Europe, Papastavrou brings a wealth of national and international competition to the Redhawk squad this coming season.

He has represented Greece since 2023 as a member of the U16, U17 and U18 national teams. This summer, Papastavrou will represent Greece in FIBA's U18 EuroBasket 2025 in Belgrade, Serbia.

Papastavrou has been playing for Panionios BC in the Greek GBL since January 2025. Panionios U18 finished second in the Athens Stat Championship and took second place in the Rising Stars regular season where Papastavrou averaged 19 points, seven rebounds and four assists per game.

As a member of the U18 Next Gen Team Istanbul, Papastavrou averaged 8.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists in competition at the 2024 Adidas NextGen EuroLeague Istanbul.
