SEATTLE - Seattle U women's rowing saw six Redhawks honored with the 2025 Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Scholar-Athlete Award, while four earned a spot on the CSC At-Large All-Academic All-District team as recognized by both the CRCA and College Sports Communicators on Tuesday afternoon.
Ruby Batch, Kaitlyn Delfs, Amina Malkin, Magdalena McKeon, Izzy Teal and Camila Torres were all recognized by the CRCA for their academic and athletic prowess this season. To be honored, a student-athlete must hold a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and must have rowed in at least 75 percent of the team's spring races in an NCAA eligible boat.
Batch, McKeon, Torres and Malkin also took home CSC All-District honors, making it the second straight year Batch has been recognized by both the CRCA and CSC. To be eligible for the CSC At-Large All-District team, a rower must compete in at least four competitions while holding a GPA over 3.5 over the course of the season.
Batch was also recognized as a scholar-athlete by the CRCA in her sophomore season, with McKeon joining her, taking home the award in 2023 and 2024.
