In preparation for the transition to the WCC Seattle University has launched the WCC Competitive Excellence Fund.
"Our move to the West Coast Conference is a pivotal moment for Seattle University Athletics, and it comes with exciting opportunities and challenges," said Vice President of Athletics Shaney Fink. "The WCC Competitive Excellence Fund is essential in ensuring our student athletes have the tools, resources and support they need to excel not only in competition but also in the classroom and beyond. This fund reflects our commitment to holistic development and competitive excellence as we embark on this new chapter."
The WCC Competitive Excellence Fund provides essential resources such as cutting-edge athletic technology, advanced nutrition programs, enhanced recruiting opportunities, comprehensive mental and physical wellness services, and more, all designed to create a championship culture and ensures every Redhawk student athlete thrives in this highly competitive environment.
"Leveling up, moving into the WCC and supporting our current and future student athletes takes commitment," said Seattle University Board of Trustees member and men's soccer alum Jason Oliver, '00. "We're launching the WCC Competitive Excellence Fund to do just that. This fund will provide our student athletes with the resources they need to succeed in the West Coast Conference."
