SEATTLE - For the second time in school history, the Seattle University Redhawks are headed to NCAA Regionals, earning a spot in the Bremerton, Washington regional after winning the Western Athletic Conference. The NCAA Regionals will take place May 12-14, with 18 holes played each of the three days.

The Redhawks will compete alongside Arizona State, Florida, Utah, South Carolina, South Florida, Colorado, Charlotte, Kansas, Colorado State, Kansas State, Elon, Coastal Carolina, and Oral Roberts.

The top five teams from each of six Regionals will advance to the NCAA Championship, as will the low individual at each Regional not on one of the advancing teams. The NCAA Championship will be held May 23-28 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California.

This is the fourth time that the Redhawks have been represented at NCAA Regionals and second year in a row. Kevin Li competed as an individual last season after winning the WAC individual medal. Nathan Cogswell also reached Regionals as an individual in 2022. Seattle U's only trip as a team to Regionals was in 2017. The Redhawks finished 12th at that year's competition.

Seattle U earned its automatic bid to this year's postseason by winning the WAC Championship last week. There, the Redhawks won by three strokes, finishing at +20 as a team to clinch the title. Li finished tied for the lowest score at the tournament, only to lose out on a second consecutive individual medal in the second hole of a playoff.
