BELLEVUE, WA - Seattle U baseball fell in their series opener with Abilene Christian, 15-1, in seven innings on Friday.
"We have to be better out front," said head coach Donny Harrel. "Chasing seven runs after the first two innings is tough on a flow for the ballgame. No excuses, as they were plenty of inning for us to respond before the game got out of hand. Got to be better tomorrow."
The loss drops the Redhawks to 15-25 on the season and to 4-9 in conference play. They will look to bounce back in game two tomorrow, April 25. Kenny Ishikawa is scheduled to make the start with a first pitch scheduled for 5:00pm PT.
