BELLEVUE, WA - Seattle U baseball dropped its final matchup of the season with Washington, 1-11, Tuesday afternoon at Bannerwood Park.

BELLEVUE, WA - Seattle U baseball dropped its final matchup of the season with Washington, 1-11, Tuesday afternoon at Bannerwood Park. 

The lone Redhawk run of the game came in the bottom of the 9th, when a Colin Curry ground out brought Josh Cunnigan home. On the day, the Redhawks split four hits evenly between Reese Harmon, Jared Stevenson, Jackson Lind, and Tyler Peterson. 

Rafael Espinoza (1-5) was credited with the loss in his seventh start of the season, going 1.2 IP while allowing four earned. Kaden Alberghini and Ryan Morrison both made scoreless appearances on the mound.

The loss dropped the Redhawks to 15-24 on the season and gives them only their sixth home loss of the season. They will be back in WAC play this weekend when they host Abiline Christian for a 3-game series starting Friday, April 25.
