SEATTLE – Seattle University student athletes recorded a 3.41 cumulative GPA for the Winter 2025 term, marking the 15th consecutive term the collective population has recorded above a 3.30 GPA and the fourth time over the last five terms that they have achieved above a 3.40 GPA.
All told, 178 student athletes (56%) made the Dean's List (3.5+), while 88 Redhawks made the President's List with a 3.9 or higher GPA.
Women's cross country maintained the top team GPA for the second consecutive term, finishing the quarter with a 3.781 GPA. Women's golf was close behind with a 3.756 team GPA. Women's tennis (3.651), women's soccer (3.635), women's basketball (3.589), men's tennis (3.565) and softball (3.539) rounded out teams over a 3.5 for the term.
Remaining teams over a 3.2 included men's golf (3.478), volleyball (3.471), women's swimming (3.463), women's track & field (3.399), men's soccer (3.373), rowing (3.299), baseball (3.250), men's cross country (3.243), men's track & field (3.235) and men's basketball (3.208).
A total of 61 Redhawks earned a 4.0 GPA for the quarter. Undergraduate student athletes (3.378) outperformed the university's non-athlete student population (3.318) for the term.
