LAHAINA, Hawai'i – Led by Jeanne Padillo and Rivekka Jumagulova each shooting even-par, the Seattle University Redhawks finished seventh out of 17 teams with a +10 at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational.

Padillo and Jumagulova finished tied for 21st after finishing even-par over 54 holes. Padillo's performance was boosted by her collegiate-best round: a -2 under, 70 in round two. Seven times in that round alone she recorded birdies, part of her 12 for the competition. She would also have an even-par round one and a +2 over, 74 in round three.

Jumagulova made it seven straight rounds with a score no worse than +1 over par. The senior shot even-par, +1 over, 73, and -1 under, 71 in her three rounds. That -1 under, 71 was her eighth round under par this year.

Tsara Ralamboarison had her second-best round of the year, a -3 under, 69 in round two that was bested only by her -4 under, 68 from the Harbottle Invitational. During that round, Ralamboarison recorded birdies on six of eight consecutive holes. In all, she would finish at +2 over across 54 holes.

Competing as an individual, Shayna Lu had her best round of the year, shooting -1 under, 71 in round one. She would end the week at +4 overall, buoyed by +3 over, 75 and +2 over, 74 rounds two and three.

Annika Cruz finished at +8. She twice recorded rounds of +2 over, 74. Aaryanna Morris shot +6 over, 78 in rounds one and two and would record five birdies total across all three rounds.

The Redhawks have just one more competition before heading to the Western Athletic Conference Championships in mid-April. Before that, Seattle U will be taking part of the Chevron Silverado Showdown in Napa, California from April 7-9.
