SERIES PREVIEW: Coppin State in Town for Seattle HBCU Classic

BELLEVUE - Seattle U baseball will host Coppin State for a 3-game set in the inaugural Seattle HBCU Series starting Friday, March 14. The event, which is sponsored by Baseball Beyond Boarders and the Seattle Mariners, will take place at Bannerwood Park in Bellevue.

BELLEVUE - Seattle U baseball will host Coppin State for a 3-game set in the inaugural Seattle HBCU Series starting Friday, March 14. The event, which is sponsored by Baseball Beyond Boarders and the Seattle Mariners, will take place at Bannerwood Park in Bellevue. 

The series was originally scheduled to have a game apiece on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, but due to inclement weather forecasted it has been shifted to a doubleheader on Friday and single game on Saturday. Tickets purchased for Sunday's game will be honored on Friday.

> This will be the first all-time meeting between the Redhawks and Eagles.
> Seattle U is coming off their highest scoring game of the season, as they put up 20 runs vs Saint Martin's on Tuesday.
> Jaisen Abner's first collegiate hit came vs the Saints on Tuesday, a 2-run home run to left field.
> Isaac Hallam secured his first collegiate win vs Saint Martins. The freshman pitched three innings in relief.
> With his two home runs on Thursday, Vicente Feliciano now leads the team in RBI (17), home runs (5), and slugging% (.627).
> The Redhawks are currently tied for the lead in home runs in the WAC this season (19).
