SEATTLE - Seattle U women's basketball hosts Tarleton State for its Play4Kay Pink Game on Saturday afternoon at 1 PM PT at the Redhawk Center to elevate breast cancer awareness as part of a three-game homestand in Seattle.

The Redhawks made their return to the Redhawk Center for the first time in February after coming off a weekend in Texas on Thursday night. Seattle U started the trip in Stephenville, Texas, falling to the Texans 77-46 at Wisdom Gym. The Texans in turn will wrap up a two-game road weekend in Seattle after a stop in Phoenix.

Freshman Candy Edokpaigbe leads the Redhawks with 10.0 points per game shooting 50.9 percent from the field coming off her first collegiate career double-double. The Naples, Italy native picked up a career best 11 rebounds while scoring 15 for the Redhawks in Thursday's defeat to Abilene Christian. She also added new highs in steals (four) and blocks (two).

Senior Julianna Walker scored another 15 for the Redhawks on Thursday night, hitting five makes from behind the arc. The effort was one made three away from tying her career made triples in a game. She has 27 makes on the season, averaging 1.4 a game, shooting 33.8 percent from three.

Redshirt junior Tamia Stricklin leads the team in conference contests, scoring 10.8 points a game in WAC play shooting 34.7 percent from three and 36.4 percent from the floor. On the season, she has a team leading 29 makes from three.

Both Stricklin and graduate Christeina Bryan rank amongst the top-20 in the conference this season in rebounds. Bryan leads the team with 5.6 rebounds a game and Stricklin follows with 4.9. Bryan posts 8.8 points a game while shooting a collective 46.7 percent from the field.

Also a threat from the perimeter is redshirt sophomore Oliva Moore. She paces the team shooting 39.1 percent from behind the arc, recording 25 triples in 17 appearances on the season.

Tarleton State has gone 1-1 since meeting the Redhawks in Wisdom Gym last week, defeating Utah Valley by seven before falling to WAC leader Grand Canyon on Thursday night. After the win in Stephenville, the Texans evened the overall series 4-4. The Redhawks last defeated Tarleton State at home in the 2022-23 season and look to avenge last week's loss for their first conference win of the year.
Following Saturday's game, the Redahwks maintain their homestand hosting Utah Valley on February 22, welcoming the Wolverines at 1 PM PT to the Redhawk Center.
