SEATTLE - The regular season for indoor track and field comes to a close this weekend as the Seattle University Redhawks have their final tune up before postseason play. This week, the Redhawks head to Washington's Dempsey Indoor Facility for the Husky Classic, the final meet before the WAC Indoor Championships at the end of this month. The two-day Husky Classic begins on February 14 on Washington's campus.

This is the fourth time the Redhawks will compete at the Dempsey Indoor Facility, having also taken part in the Washington Preview, Mile City, and UW Invitational. 14 new all-time program top-ten times have been set at Dempsey this year for the Redhawks, including seven at the UW Invitational, the most recent meet at Washington that the Redhawks have taken part in.

Seattle U's performances outside of Seattle have been just as impressive this season. Last week, the Redhawks sent nine competitors to the Riverfront Invitational and Multis in Spokane, Washington. Those nine competitors combined for three new all-time top-ten times in the record book as Taylor Marks, JR Zamora, and Manthita Wague set new times in the 60m, triple jump, and long jump, respectively.

In all, this season has seen Seattle U record 19 new all-time top-ten times. 16 different athletes have put their name in Seattle U's all-time top ten this season.

After the Husky Classic will be the WAC Indoor Championships. This year's WAC Championships will be held at The Podium in Spokane on Feburary 28 and March 1.
