EUGENE, Ore. – In their second match of the weekend, the Seattle University Redhawks fell 6-1 to Long Beach State. Lamija Avdic earned Seattle University's point, winning her singles match.

Avdic's match was a tight one: both the second and third set went to tiebreakers, finally ending with Avdic's 10-3 win in the final set. Both of Avdic's singles matches this season have gone to a third-set tiebreaker.

In doubles play, Avdic teamed with Lola Tavcar, a duo that were leading 5-4 before the match went unfinished as Long Beach State clinched the doubles point.

Natalia Michta and Larissa Teramura each won their first sets in singles plays but would fall in three. Michta won her first set 6-2 and, after a 0-6 second set, fell in a tight 4-6 third set. Teramura won 6-3 then lost 3-6 in the first two sets. Her tiebreaker set would go against her, 6-10.
