SEATTLE - Crafted to a complete 52-game schedule that boasts 15 contests at Logan Field, Seattle U softball officially released its upcoming slate for 2025. Highlighting its year with elite competition, the season ahead features six opponents that earned NCAA Regional berths in 2024.

"Looking forward to getting this season started," head coach Geoff Hirai shared. "We have a lot of great opportunities ahead featuring some great opponents and we invite you to come out and cheer us on this year."

The path to conference play is filled with a slew of familiar programs and includes three teams that made NCAA Regionals (Stanford, Northwestern, California) a season ago. The Redhawks face the Cardinal twice in Palo Alto, as Stanford comes off an NCAA Super Regional appearance in 2024.

Four road tournaments make up the bulk of the non-conference slate for the Redhawks in the new year. The team makes three separate trips to California through the first month of the season, starting with the Stanford Invite in Palo Alto, CA on Feb. 7-9.

The subsequent weekends are spent between Northridge and Palm Springs in Southern California, with the Redhawks splitting time between the CSUN Matador Classic (Feb. 14-16) and the renowned Mary Nutter Classic (Feb. 21-23). Seattle U's four weeks of travel ends in Tempe, AZ for the Sun Devil Classic Feb. 28 through March 2.

The Redhawks host their first of four home conference series the weekend of March 7 against Abilene Christian. California Baptist, Southern Utah and Utah Valley will also make the trip to Seattle, with the Wolverines claiming the final home series for the Redhawks on April 25-26.

Within conference play, Seattle U host another 2024 NCAA Regional competitor in Oregon (March 17), while later sparring with Cal Poly in a doubleheader on March 26. The Redhawks jet off to Omaha to face Creighton (March 21-22) in between both the Ducks and Mustangs.

In their final season in the WAC, the Redhawks travel to Utah Tech, Tarleton State, Grand Canyon and UT Arlington, concluding their regular season in Arlington. After their Tarleton State series, the Redhawks stay local for a head-to-head with Washington on April 1. The Huskies are one of the six teams that made the regional field a season ago. GCU also earned a berth in 2024.

The WAC Championships follow Seattle U's bout in Arlington and will be hosted by California Baptist in Riverside, CA the weekend of May 7-10.
