SEATTLE – Seattle University student athletes recorded a 3.46 cumulative GPA for the Fall 2024 term, marking the 14th consecutive term the collective population has recorded above a 3.30 GPA and the third time over the last four terms that they have achieved above a 3.40 GPA.
All told, 185 student athletes (58%) made the Dean's List (3.5+), while 89 Redhawks made the President's List with a 3.9 or higher GPA. The fall term also marked the fifth time over the last seven terms that all 18 programs notched grade point averages over 3.0.
Women's cross country de-throned women's golf for the highest team GPA. The Redhawk harriers tallied a 3.857 GPA while women's golf earned a cumulative 3.784 GPA. Men's tennis (3.663), softball (3.635), women's soccer (3.635), women's tennis (3.574) and men's track & field (3.519) round out teams over a 3.5 for the term.
Volleyball, men's soccer (3.379), men's cross country (3.374), women's swimming (3.366), women's basketball (3.351) and rowing (3.323) all finished above a 3.3 while men's golf (3.282), baseball (3.264), men's swimming (3.238), men's basketball (3.169) and women's track & field (3.164) round out the Redhawk squads.
A total of 65 Redhawks earned a 4.0 GPA for the quarter, while 58% of the student athletes recorded a GPA between a 3.5-4.0.
