KANSAS CITY, MO - Seattle U women's soccer had four players named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region Team, as announced by the organization on Wednesday. Kait Raffensperger and Caroline Penner were both named First Team while U'i Kaaihue and Kailee Wilson were named to the Second Team.
Raffensperger and Penner continued to get their flowers after outstanding 2024 seasons. Both were named First Team All-WAC at the conclusion of the regular season, while Raffensperger also took home her second straight defensive player of the year honor and all-tournament selection. Penner led the team in scoring for the second straight season in 2024.
Kaaihue and Wilson also were selected to All-WAC in 2024, both being named to the Second Team. They combined for five goals and five assists on the season.
