KANSAS CITY, MO - Seattle U men's soccer had three players named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Far West Region, as announced by the organization on Tuesday. Demian Alvarez and Taketo Onodera were named to the First Team while Titus Washington was selected to the Second Team.

Alvarez capped his Redhawk career by appearing, and starting in, in 19 of 20 matches on the season while solidifying the backline. He was named to the All-WAC postseason First Team and was also crowned the conference's Defender of the Year. The Chico, California native was also involved in the attack in 2024, dishing out an assist vs San Jose State in the regular season before scoring a goal vs the Spartans in the WAC championship match.

Onodera had his best statistical collegiate season in 2024, scoring six goals and assisting on another three. His goal output was tied for second on the team and was his career high. The graduate student out of Kawaguchi, Japan was also named to the WAC postseason First Team, his second straight appearance on the list.

Washington, who transferred into the program prior to the 2024 season, made a statement in his final collegiate season. The forward hailing from Carlsbad, California led the Redhawks in goals (8) and assists (8) while powering the team to another WAC Championship. He made it a three-for-three sweep by joining Alvarez and Onodera on the All-WAC First Team.

Also being honored by the United Soccer Coaches was the Redhawk coaching staff, which was named the Far West Region Staff of the Year for the second straight year. Led by head coach Nate Daligcon, they guided the program to its record extending sixth WAC title and the automatic qualifier to the NCAA tournament. It was the first time in the program's modern Division I era that the team made back-to-back appearances in the NCAA tournament.
