SEATTLE – Seattle University women's rowing competed in the Head of the Lake Regatta on Lake Union on Sunday, going head-to-head with top programs from the University of Washington, Gonzaga, Washington State, British Columbia and Seattle Pacific.

SEATTLE – Seattle University women's rowing competed in the Head of the Lake Regatta on Lake Union on Sunday, going head-to-head with top programs from the University of Washington, Gonzaga, Washington State, British Columbia and Seattle Pacific.

Despite strong efforts, the Redhawks faced stiff competition, finishing in sixth place in the Varsity 8+ and ninth in the 3rd Varsity 8+.

In the Varsity 8+ race, Seattle U placed sixth with a time of 19:51.921, showing determination and consistency as they competed against strong regional programs. In the 3V8+ race, Seattle U finished ninth with a time of 22:05.643. The team plans to use this race as a foundation for growth, focusing on building speed and refining their teamwork as they prepare for the spring season, aiming to enhance their performance in future regattas.
