ABILENE, Texas - Seattle U women's soccer took down Utah Tech, 2-0, in their quarterfinal clash in the Western Athletic Conference tournament. After a scoreless first half, the Redhawls found the net twice in the second to punch their ticket to the semifinals.
It took until the 75th minute, but the Redhawks finally broke the stalemate when Bella Bonnett headed home a cross from Zoe Hopkins. They would quickly add insurance to the first when Kailee Wilson snuck one inside the far post in the 80th off a pass from Hallie Bergford.
The Seattle U defense, as it has been all season, was on complete lockdown as they only allowed three shots all match from the Trailblazers. Each Utah Tech shot was on frame as Kassidy Kirgan didn't allow one to pass for her sixth clean sheet of the season.

The Redhawks and Lopes will face off on Wednesday, Nov. 6, with a spot in the WAC championship on the line. Kickoff is set for 5pm PT and will be broadcasted on ESPN+.
