SEATTLE - The Seattle University Redhawks headed home from an impressive weekend in Oregon, shining in both the Pacific Northwest and Duck Invitationals. In all, the Redhawks earned 14 singles wins across the two competitions.

For the men, the Pacific Northwest Invitational saw six doubles wins. The team of Michael Frank and Oliver Hall won all three of their matches: 7-5, 6-2, and 6-3. Veselin Kiselkov and Jayden Harrison earned two doubles wins, both by the score of 6-4. Dario Ristovski earned a doubles win as well, playing in a mixed pair with Portland State's Hayden Elliott.

In singles, Hall and Frank combined for four wins between them. Hall picked up a close 6-4, 2-6, 10-7 win, then won 6-2, 6-1 in his second match. Frank had a comeback win; 4-6, 6-2, 10-7 before winning 6-2, 6-3 on Sunday in his last action of the weekend.

Yu-Han Hsieh also won two singles matches: 6-2, 6-1 and 6-2, 6-7 (5), 11-9. Kiselkov, Harrison, and Ristovski all earned one singles win each on the weekend.

At the Duck Invitational, the women earned five singles wins and two doubles wins. The team of Liliya Dimova and Natalia Michta earned doubles wins over Washington State and Gonzaga, winning 6-1 and 6-3.

In singles play, Michta also earned a win, 6-0, 6-2. Larissa Teramura and Daria Nazarenko each won two singles matches. Teramura won her first 6-3, 7-5 before her opponent withdrew due to injury in the second match. Nazarenko won 7-5, 6-4 in her first match, then 7-5, 7-6 (4) in her second.

The men will have one more competition this fall: the Gonzaga Invitational, set for November 8-10. For the women, Dimova and Lamija Avdic will remain in action this fall as they head to ITA Masters, set for November 7-10 in Rome, Georgia.
